Fodor's Expert Review Two Boroughs Larder
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Husband and wife Josh and Heather Keeler ventured down from Philadelphia to open up their restaurant and market in the Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhoods. The menu changes daily, featuring an eclectic but irrepressible mix. You can opt for a breakfast sandwich any time of the day, only with pepperonata and egg, Neueske's bacon, or pork scrapple—a traditional heap of pork mush from Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish descent. But the restaurant supplies other pleasing mains, too, like grouper brodetto, oven-roasted trout, and veal sweetbreads, along with such plentiful sides as marrow-roasted cauliflower, braised heirloom beans, and buffalo pig tails.
