Fodor's Review

A Santa Fe hot spot since it opened in 1987, this pioneer of contemporary Southwestern cuisine has experienced some ups and downs over the years but is currently enjoying a bit of a renaissance, having completed a handsome renovation in early 2018 and serving some of the most extravagant and delicious cuisine in the city. Prices are also among Santa Fe's highest, although you can enjoy terrific, lighter bites in the adjacent Coyote Cantina, a fun rooftop space with a loud and lively social scene serving drinks and flavorful under-$20 fare like burgers and pork carnitas tacos with pineapple-habanero salsa. On the ground floor, a lounge called the Den offers first-rate craft cocktails, but the overly slick vibe feels a bit fancy for Santa Fe.
