You’ll find some of Santa Fe’s prettiest scenery on the hilly north side of town, which extends from the Sangre de Cristo foothills (home to some distinctive accommodations, including Ten Thousand Waves and the Four Seasons) west through the historic and artsy village of Tesuque, and then across rolling, sagebrush-dotted mesas that contain the city’s famed opera house and one of the popular Marty Sanchez golf courses.
