Savannah Boat and Ferry Travel

Located on the Savannah River, the Port of Savannah is the busiest port between New Orleans and New York. Savannah Belles Ferry is part of the citywide transit system and provides regular service from the City Hall dock in the Historic District to the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa at the International Convention Center, on Hutchinson Island.

With ferries named after the strong women who shaped Savannah's history, Belles Ferry offers free scenic transportation for crossing the Savannah River from docks at Trade Center Landing, City Hall Landing below City Hall, and Waving Girl Landing in Morrell Park near the Marriott Riverfront Hotel to the Westin Hotel on Hutchison Island. The ferry operates seven days a week from 7 am to midnight with departures every 15 to 20 minutes. The complimentary crossing takes 3-5 minutes.
