The latest restaurant in the culinary empire of celebrity Chef Tadd Chapman, this gastro grill and tequila bar features a menu created by Tadd and his mother. Opt for lunch specialties of ginger ahi ceviche and portobello burgers, and for dinner, try the fish-fillet wrapped shrimp with squid ink risotto or the panko-crusted rice cakes, topped with pulled pork. Don't miss the innovative cocktails with infused tequila; there are more than 130 types lining the bar, which is adorned with photos of Don Julio. As a certified “tequilier” (tequila sommelier), Tadd offers tequila pairing courses and tastings upon request. Exceptional breakfasts—ranging from stuffed French toast to eggs Benedict prepared five ways—are served from 8 to 12 for a fixed price just over $8. Leave the baking to mom, who makes the best key lime pie you’ve ever had—fresh, tart, and not overly sweet.
