If you need a soundtrack for a drive through the Icelandic countryside, look no further than Sóley’s album, 'Endless Summer.'
Made in collaboration with her longtime friend Albert Finnbogason, the compositions shrink and swell through lilting, bittersweet soundscapes (check out one of our favorite tracks, “Pretty Face”).

Sóley studied piano and composing at the Icelandic Academy of the Arts, and played in several indie bands before beginning her solo project. This year at Iceland Airwaves she brought her magical compositions to Frikirkjan in Reykjavik, and was also part of the KEXP showcase at the KEX Hostel.

An Iceland native, Sóley knows the best spots in Reykjavik, both for relaxation and entertainment. We followed her through a wintry mix on a frigid day in November during Iceland Airwaves, to some of her favorite spots in the city.
