Fodor's Expert Review The Jane

$$$$ Beyond Central Antwerp European
Having gained its second Michelin star in 2017, The Jane is the city's shooting star on the Belgian gastronomy scene. Located in the chapel of a former military hospital, an open kitchen has replaced the altar and stained glass takes its inspiration from the tattoo parlor. The wine list is vast and the average dining experience usually runs past three hours; choose between an eight- (€110) or nine-course (€130) tasting menu. A smaller, cheaper version can be had upstairs in the slick bar area. Booking can be a chore, but stick with it for one of the more remarkable dining experiences in Antwerp.
