Big Blue Unlimited. This ecotour operator got its start offering dive excursions in 1997, but has since widened its scope considerably. Big Blue has several educational kayak ecotours to choose from, as well as the very popular stand-up paddleboard (SUP) safari tours as an alternative, though they don't cover quite as much territory as the kayak tours. Big Blue also has outposts on Middle, North, and South Caicos, with an extensive network of guides, bikes, kayaks, and boats, so they are able to offer a number of interactive ecotourism excursions for those wishing to learn more about what Turks and Caicos has to offer. Private charters up to a maximum of 12 passengers may incorporate a snorkeling adventure to the reef off the outer islands or on the Caicos Banks near French Cay and West Caicos. They are also the only operator offering excursions to the pristine coral reefs surrounding South Caicos. As their latest foray, they are now also recognized for their outstanding kiteboarding and kitesurfing instruction, downwinders, and kite safaris. Concha Woncha Tours. For a different tour of the island, let the air-conditioned turquoise trolley be your guide. The tour includes a visit to the Conch Farm and Chalk Sound National Park, a cultural show experience, and a full lunch at Da Conch Shack. Also included are all your beverages during the tour: water, nonalcoholic fruit punch, and a rum punch with a kick. Tours last three to four hours and are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a 10-person minimum. The trolley can also be chartered for special events. Froggie's Ultimate Tours. From this location in Blue Hills, adventurous individuals may head off into the more rugged end of Providenciales on their very own ATV. Small groups are led along winding roads, on tracks cut through the brush, and down pristine natural beaches on the northwest end of the island to discover a side of Provo you could not otherwise get to know—all while having loads of fun. There's a small eatery where you "saddle up" and can grab a bite before or after your adventure, or pick up a cold drink to enjoy along the way. Note that you must be 18 years of age with a valid form of identification to rent the ATV, but only 12 years old to ride. Paradise Scooters. New Vespa tours have arrived on Provo, where riders are guided throughout various island neighborhoods with stops along the way at the Conch Farm, Blue Hills, Sapodilla Bay, and Chalk Sound; a full lunch at Bugaloo's in Five Cays is included.
