Cap Maison
Prepare to be spoiled by the doting staffers at this intimate villa resort—the luxurious service includes unpacking (if you wish) and a personal butler for any little needs that arise. The property's 22 villas can be configured into 49 rooms, junior suites, and oversize (3,000 square feet) villa suites—each with a full kitchen and washer/dryer and most with an amazing sea view as far as Martinique. The elegant Spanish Caribbean architecture features terra-cotta roof tiles, large private balconies, and huge roof terraces—nine of which have a private plunge pool. A large infinity pool at the edge of the bluff and a smaller pool are available to everyone. French Caribbean cuisine is served at the resort's excellent cliff-top restaurant, The Cliff at Cap; the beachside bar and grill, The Naked Fisherman, serves lunch and dinner. For extra pampering, there's a full-service spa—or have treatments in your room, on your terrace, or in the calming Zen garden. Because the resort is on a seaside cliff, getting down to the beach—a secluded crescent of sand—requires hiking down (and back up) 92 steps.
