Most of the nightlife in St. Barth is centered on Gustavia, though there are a few places to go outside of town. "In" clubs change from season to season, so you might ask around for the hot spot of the moment, but none really get going until about midnight. Theme parties are the current trend. Check the daily St. Barth News or Le Journal de Saint-Barth for details. A late (10 pm or later) reservation at one of the club–restaurants will eventually become a front-row seat at a party. Cabaret performances and classic French-inspired cuisine combine at this alluring venue. Upon arrival, grab a drink at the outdoor bar and take a peek at the high-end clothing boutique, because once you enter through the curtains, there's no telling what time you'll leave. Note that there is a steep cancellation fee if you wait until 24 hours before the show.
