2 Best Sights in Ceiba, El Yunque and the Northeast

Playa Medio Mundo used to be part of the Roosevelt Roads Naval Base and is now open to the public. It is the largest area managed by the island's environmental nonprofit Para La Naturaleza. To get there, head to Playa Los Machos and park at the end of the parking lot. You’ll see a clearing in the mangroves. Walk through the mangroves on the path for about 15--20 minutes to reach this seldom visited spot.
