The Oxford Terrace strip isn't just for evenings. This place is a nice breakfast spot overlooking the Avon River. It was apparently named for its previous life as a pizzeria. Breakfast has standards like eggs a dozen different ways and a big fry-up. But they also have less common breakfasts like sirloin steak with all the trimmings or roasted chorizo sausage with French toast and a mushroom potato cake. Both the food and the coffee are good, and the big-screen TVs are usually muted. Later in the evening the bar crowd raises the tempo.
