The massive, rolling outlines of a new ocean-view housing development in the Chinese city of Beihai may look like PhotoShop trickery but the Fake Hills complex is very real.
Recently released photos from Xia Zhi show off the development in all of its 5.3 million square feet, half-mile long glory. Which, by the way, only accounts for the first part of the project. Fake Hills offers up a mixture of apartments and amenities.
The housing development was designed by MAD, a firm quickly becoming known for its innovative takes on architecture.
