Your Top Denver Restaurant Options

I was wanting to know everyone's top 10 places to eat in denver. I am going there to visit some people soon and want find a good place to eat with family
I went to this site which lists its top 10 places in Denver. I want to make sure these are the actual places that are good.
Denver Restaurants - http://www.opentable.com/start.aspx?m=5

It would be cool to get everyone else's opinions on food in Denver
I would be nice to try something new and actually edible.

Thanks,
John

First of all, the list the link took me to had 5 restaurants that are in Denver-3 in Boulder-1 in Vail-1 in Broomfield. So you might want to click on restaurant names to get actual location.

Other restaurants in Denver that I like are:
Luca d'Italia, Barolo Grill, Panzano, Rijoa, Deluxe--all have wonderful food and are somewhat pricy.

If you would let the forum know what types of food you like and price range, I'm sure you would get more specific suggestions.

Don't forget Boulder, about 45 minutes away at the most. Jax's Hosea Rosenburg just won Top Chef, and there are several other top rated restaurants worth the drive- Q's in the Hotel Boulderado, the Flagstaff. etc

I think that list must just come from OpenTable.com data. It isn't a comprehensive list IMHO.

At the high end, we like Avenue Grill (best value for fine dining), Strings, Barolo Grill, The Chophouse (Denver).

For fun, The Wazee Supper Club, Ted Turner's on Larimer, The Tavern in Lowry, and lots more.

Hi John,

Here's (yet another) list of the top restaurants in the Denver area, maybe some are less upscale but just some other thoughts for you!

From another post of mine:

We spent our anniversary last year at Fruition and it was excellent in every possible way. Here are the details:

Fruition Restaurant
http://www.fruitionrestaurant.com
1313 E 6th Ave
Denver, CO 80218
(303) 831-1962

Be sure to read the reviews on their web site and their Tripadvisor reviews http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restauran..._Colorado.html
(They are the #1 restaurant restaurant in Denver!)
