yosemite to SF

After spending 3 nights and four days in the Yosemite we will be heading back to SF on Thurs and we will be flying home on Sat. morning. We have Thurs. and Thurs. night and most of Friday free before we return to our hotel near the SF airport. Does anyone have any suggestions which route to go and what to do for this day and half. We have already done SF.

This Thursday? The day after tomorrow? Haven't you heard Yosemite is flooded and closed?

FainaAgain,

Haven't you heard...it's reopened!

Besides, I don't think student7 was talking about this Thursday.

Student7,

I'd be tempted to spend most of the day you leave at the park and not get to far...maybe Groveland.

I'd drive from Yosemite to the central coast on Thursday. Spend Thursday night in Carmel/Monterey/Santa Cruz. Spend Friday driving up the coast and doing some beachwalking or sightseeing. Get to your hotel near SFO by Friday night. Happy travels.
