Southold/Greenport area of Long Island
I am headed to Southold/Greenport area of Long Island. I am looking for suggestions of where to stay and what wineries I need to stop at. Some of the motels in this area are very "vintage" looking and that concerns me. I love to drink wine and I have a wedding in Greenport so I am not sure where to stay. Looking forward to your suggetions.

Have you stayed at Morning Glory, McLAurie?
The building is very attractive, but I would not choose to stay on such a trafficked street in season. I'd prefer to be closer to the water, in any case.
Will you have a car?
