While it is true that there are several outstanding violations and court dates in place against this company, it is highly debatable from some of the tenants perspectives that they are actually a deterrant to the illegal activity.

And if WooGo's history is any indication, they are about to screw over the evil property managers and owners of this complex as well... and then do it again at a different location under a differnt name.

Sorry, I think inhaling in college disqualifies me. I am enjoying the satisfaction of seeing change made for the better of a lot of people. If not a job, at least a hobby of traveling around the world and holding people accountable. Maybe there is a need for an industry supported, indepedent audit agency? After all, things like this really only give travel, destinations and agents a bad name. I *want* there to be a trustworth place to turn for travel info. I want my favorite travel destinations to be preserved. NYC has every right to be outraged at this, as does anyone that travels.

It's too bad the posters who degraded you and called you "unhinged" are no longer following this story as they think you are just blowing smoke and you've gone off the deep end. It would be nice if they could see that sometimes causing a ruckus instead of walking away from the problem with a shrug really does do some good.

"Your work is not done" LOL, of course not! And, as someone pointed out, there will be tenant/landlord/tourist problems long after I'm gone... and as someone esle said the poor with always be with us.

Again, I'm only one person, with thankfully some extra spare time these days. The way to help is to join in the effort and spread the word!

I've pushed Expedia as hard as possible, I know they are continuing to investigate WooGo on their own. The results of their investigations, and the eventual decisions on further WooGo properties by IAC is something behind their corporate curtain which I am not privy.
