Wisconsin, Door County, Reunion Site?
Hi!
I was wondering if anyone had any info and/or suggestions for having a Family Reunion in Door County Wisconsin. We are planning a reunion in that area and are looking for ideas and places that can accomodate a group of about 50.
We like lodges with facilities where we can have group meals. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Steve

While I have enjoyed Door County many times, I have never needed housing or housing for 50 as we have friends living in Sturgeon Bay. There are several good websites for information ----www.doorcounty.com or doorcountynavigator.com which might give you your needed information. Time of year will also make a big difference in availability since of course summer weekends are prime as well as the first weekend in Oct. which is Oct. fest. It is beautiful country offering many options for various age groups so if you can get housing, you should have a great time.

We had a reunion at the Yacht Club at Sister Bay. They had several meeting/social rooms available to accommodate 50 people.

Below is another website. It was one of our choices but didn't have availability for our chosen dates.

Hi Steve,
I would suggest The Landmark, http://www.thelandmarkresort.com/. They have plenty of rooms or condos and have a restaurant on site as well.
Ephraim Shores (http://www.ephraimshores.com/) may be another option. It's extremely beautiful in Ephraim- a view of the water and bluffs too. They have The Second Story Restaurant available.
If you have children joining your reunion you may also want to check out www.doorcountyfamilyfun.com, to help you plan some fun activities!
