Planning a Sept. trip to Napa / Sonoma.Most of the upscale hotels etc. are booked in the Napa area.What about Sonoma Valley area.Any suggestions on places to stay?I heard Healdsburg is home to a new hotel/inn.

I rather Napa Valley.Try Auberge du Soleil, Meadowood or Villagio Inn.If Sonoma Valley is your choice try the Kenwood Inn.

It's not fancy but we stayed at the Dry Creek Inn (run by Best Western) in Healdsburg and it was inexpensive and clean.
