Williamsburg Woodlands & Suites

Greetings! I just booked 3 nights at the Woodlands & Suites for my family of 4 (daughters ages 8 and 5). This seems to be a pretty good bet--can anyone share recent experiences here?

Friends of ours stayed there two weeks ago and thought quite highly of the Woodlands. They have kids in your age ranges. The places if very family oriented and you easily can walk to the restored area.

That said, visitorship is WAAY down so check around town for other suites hotels which may have better deals than a CW property.

When are you visiting?

We're going the end of June--we're booked for the nights of 6/25-6/27, then heading up to Washington DC for 2 nights, and finally Baltimore for 1 night.

I stayed there about 3 yrs. ago. The rooms were nice, clean, and quiet. I thought it was a good value.

We stayed there last summer and thought it was great. It's located at the Visitors Center, so you can either walk or take the bus to CW. It has a nice pool and great continental breakfast.
