My girlfriend and I are going to Scottsdale in August and staying at the Princess. I was looking for some advice on what would be the best place to propose? I'm open to all and thanks in advance.

The problem with the hot air balloon ride is that (I think) you are with a bunch of other people. Unless you charter a balloon, but that's kinda crazy. One of the resorts, I think it might be McCormick Ranch, has gondola rides on the lake at night. Can any Arizonan confirm this, and whether you are alone on the boat (except for the guide, of course). That might be an idea. I would also suggest doing it at the top of Camelback Mountain after a hike up, but August is too hot to do that one.

At the top of Camelback Mountain would be quite a memory, but she'd have to be a bit the athletic type.
