True, if you want dry weather stay east of the Cascades. Soap Lake is 75 miles s/e of Chelan and is reputed to be a source of healing waters by the local Native Americans. Moses Lake is the home of an alternate Space Shuttle Landing area. Spokane has some very interesting sights and great restuarants. The best dining experience is in Bellevue, Wa at Tosoni's (14320 NE 20th St Ste A · Bellevue.(425) 644-1668)
