I having the hardest time finding package deals with the origin city being in Florida, the closest city is usually Atlanta which is a 5 hour drive for me? any sufggestions?

There are lots of package deals listed in the Ft. Myers New Press on Sunday...cruises, non-cruises. Where are you and where do you want to go? Check with a local travel agent.

I'm in North FL, the meassage boards always reccommend MCM, or Apple vacations ect which seem to apply mostly to New England... Even AA vacations and travelocity hardly mention Fl.. maybe because they think this is a state many people want to visit not leave

Even if the origin city isn't in Florida, your travel agent can help you make arrangements for almost any package tour. The tour companies can't list every city in the U.S., so just list some of them. Usually, the arrangements will be such that you won't pay much more than you would from Atlanta. Just talk to your agent; you'd be surprised what they can do to help you out.
