September in New England
I will be on vacation in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island the last two weeks in September. I have made my bed and breakfast reservations long ago. The information I hope to get from some of you are places to eat I shouldn't miss. This is a very casual vacation, so we aren't looking for fancy restaurants. Just good food! Also, any attractions/sight you think are important to do/see. We are pretty much open for any suggestions. I look forward to hearing some of your ideas.

Maine: Mabel's in Kennebunkport and The Fisherman's Catch in Wells; Walk the Marginal Way from downtown Ogunquit to Perkins Cove.
Vermont: Bentley's in Woodstock; Visit Quechee's Simon Pierce glass and New England crafts shop, demos, restaurant.
New Hampshire: Lots of interesting restaurants in New London; Visit St. Gaudens in Cornish and the Kearsage Indian Museum in Warner.

Sara-You don't say when you will be in Rhode Island or where-not that it matters where it is such a small state- but check out the Waterfire in Providence (waterfire.com). If you go eat early at New Rivers on Steeple St. just a block from the water.
