September in New England

I will be on vacation in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island the last two weeks in September. I have made my bed and breakfast reservations long ago. The information I hope to get from some of you are places to eat I shouldn't miss. This is a very casual vacation, so we aren't looking for fancy restaurants. Just good food! Also, any attractions/sight you think are important to do/see. We are pretty much open for any suggestions. I look forward to hearing some of your ideas.

Ogunquit, Maine has one of the best, underlined, restaurents anywhere near Boston Arrows but it is expensive, BUT-there is also Hurricane, with a terrific window on the oceon. There has been a live Sunday lunch but that was by reservation only.

Sara-You don't say when you will be in Rhode Island or where-not that it matters where it is such a small state- but check out the Waterfire in Providence (waterfire.com). If you go eat early at New Rivers on Steeple St. just a block from the water.

If you're anywhere around Wiscasset, Maine, try Sarah's Restaurant. Their Lobster Burrito is wonderful! Sarah's brother is a lobsterman so the seafood is always fresh that day.
