Portugal - here I come!

Going on my first buying trip to that country - hunting down hand-made ceramics. Yay! First time there and looking forward to it.

Yes, we hope so! It's our first trip with her as well. I've got the air tickets, but I'm having trouble with the hotel part. I usually stay with a friend, so the hotel booking is overwhelming to me. Think I should get a suite if possible so we have room for all 3 of us. Anybody want a housesitter in Manhattan April 21-26? We're GREAT with animals!

Marilyn, I know that when my DH's daughter was about 10 we started getting suites at hotels, when possible. It was nice to have our privacy in a separate bedroom at night and our own TV, while she slept on the sofa sleeper and had her own TV, as well. It kept us from having to watch too many cartoons when we were in the room.

Milan, St. Moritz/Davos to ski, and on to Zurich/Lucerne! Then my husband goes to Japan the end of the month, so I'll live vicariously through him.

I'm going to Mal Pais, Costa Rica aka Paradise! A Big Surprise in store for my girlfriend at a romantic place called Casa Chameleon...already have some plans made to give her a little story book romance-it's so hard to keep a secret! I'll definite write a trip report to tell how it all worked out. Wish me luck

Guess I'm doing your "tour" of duty as well as my own in April. If I combine my work travel schedule with vacation, then the itinerary for April is....San Francisco, Las Vegas, Omaha, New York, Omaha (again), Shanghai and San Francisco (again). Then again, I could stay home...nah!!!

Just a girls weekend here in Portland, but it will be fun.

SFImporter--You will love Portugal! I bought way too much stuff there and still remember tossing hair products, blow dryer, etc. just so I could get everything in my bags to get home.
