Who Has Hiked to Corona Arch?

While I'm only mildly concerned with the chains up the hill and a bit more concerned with climbing up the ladder, I'm getting more concerned with climbing back down the ladder.

That ladder just doesn't seem to go high enough to get back on to descend.

Jump? Just stay there?

Three weeks from today.

Hi Myer,

Both the chains and the ladder are very short distances. If I can do it, so can you! Besides, you know by now that hiking boots and good tennies stick to the slickrock.

But how do you get from the top back down to the top step?

Jump?

I think once you actually see it, you will know you can make it. It's not much of a stretch.

I have been known to scoot on my butt when necessary. Works for me! Best to have durable pants.

I'm trying to picture that. Wheels?

If I keep training my butte may get too small.

Obviously I'm just spinning my wheels (and looking for trouble) waiting for the trip.

Hopefully we'll have weather in the low-mid 80s by mid-May.

Thanks Dayle.
