which place at kissimmee
I've narrowed my search of places to stay in the Disney area unless someone thinks I should really avoid either of these two places. Has anyone stayed at either the "Four Points Hotel Sheraton Lakeside" or the "Best Western suites & Resort Hotel on Lake Cecile." Either place is around $71 per night and both tout "heated pools" I'm going the last week of March with 2 teenagers.

It's been so long since I have stayed in Kissimee that I may not be able to help you that much but I did look up in my Unofficial Guide to Disney(great guide) and the Sheraton Lakeside got a 68% rating from them. Couldn't find the other property. Don't mean to confuse you and may be out of touch with the rates when you go, but I much prefer the Lake Buena Vista area...closer, easy access, lots of restaurants, nicer. Try a couple of the places there like the Embassy Suites Resort in Lake Buena(86) or Summerfield Suites(82) in LBV also. Hope this didn't confuse you or set your plans off.

you also may want to check Deb Wills "unofficial guide to WDW" at www.wdwig.com There are lots of trip reports and recommendations about hotels not on the WDW property that people have stayed at. The Orlando Sentinel newspaper als has a website and may have some useful info about events during the time you will be in Orlando area.

My parents are staying for 6 weeks at the Sierra Suites which is brand new property in Lake Buena Vista. The studio suites come with a living room, full kitchen and much more. Tell them you were recommended by a friend for a good rate of $89.00 per night. Maybe I'll see you there!!

My mom and I stayed at the BW Lake Cecile a couple of years ago--motel with indoor corridors, good soundproofing, and nice staff. I did not use the pool but I think I used a laundry there? Property backs up to lake. It was conveniently located across the highway from a shopping center with grocery store. It is at the intersection of two highways that gave an alternative route back from the theme parks.

The best way to visit Disney area is to try to rent a Timeshare from Timeshare Owner .
Timeshare resorts in Disney area , most
of them are luxury resort with every
thing inside .
I have a sleep-8 Villa at the Orange Lake Country Club , 3 miles from Disney
April 9th till April 16 year 2000.
email me if you interested.

A couple of recommendations on moderate price hotels in the area: Comfort Suites, Maingate East or West. Travelodge on Irlo Bronson. It's the world's largest Travelodge. 400 rooms, a friend of mine stays there for business and he likes it. He said it is geared for families. It is in the Fodor's book on Florida. It also has free shuttle service to WDW.

If those are your 2 choices then take the Sheraton. Bronson Hwy(192) has a lot of construction on it right now and it isn't going away any time soon. To get to the BW you'd have to drive through all that mess which is an accident waiting to happen. Personally for that price I'd stay at one of the All Star Resorts on Disney property or for a lot less at one of the Maingate places.
