Which napali kayak tour?

I'm so excited about our upcoming trip to Kauai and the napali kayak trip I've read so much about. Does anyone have suggestions of which kayak tour company I should go with if I want to do a guided kayaking tour of the napali coast? Who provides good food, equipment and good guides?

k2rider...Did it knock the crp out of you? Mrlou and I have done some rough seas, so we think we can handle it! Website seems to try to scare off poor candidates. We're there mid august. Mahalo!

I will be in Kauai at the end of June. How far in advance do you need to book the Napali kayak tour?

We went with Kakak Kauai last June and they were great...you can read all about the adventure in my trip report here: http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...1&tid=34508517

We didn't feel truly exhausted until the last two hours when it was hot hot hot nearing Polihale. And as you'll read in the report, yes, the water got BIG, even in June. If you go, tell Kayak Kauai they need to strap their paddles to the kayak so the first thing I need to do when I flip the boat is catch my breath, not chase after the paddles!

It's a tremendous way to see Na Pali though, we LOVED it (although we're in our midtwenties and could possibly be defined as "stupid").

love
