Which mobile apps do you use for Napa Valley and Sonoma
We are planning another 3-day trip this summer to Wine Country. Please share some of the mobile tools that you have found helpful to find wineries. Also please share some of your favorite wineries in Napa Valley, Sonoma even all the way up to Healdsburg /Geyserville.

Hi SF Girl - we have an app that we like, mainly because it's our app, and it's free, and we work hard to make it useful.
If you are on the iphone it is the iVisit Sonoma County app and if you are on Android it is Sonoma Insider.
We tried to make the apps useful and functional rather than "too pretty." That is - the info should be relevant and contextual to the user, in this case telling you how far you are from certain wineries. You can sort by wine varietal and find the wineries that have the types of wine you want - saving you a drive to a winery only to find that they don't have both Pinot Gris and Mourvedre (or whatever combination of wines you seek.)
We also put in recent events that are happening around the time you access the app, as well as restaurant, hotel and spa filters.
We are working on some upgrades, so if you use it and have any ideas, please let us know. Your feedback is invaluable.
The links are here: http://www.sonomacounty.com/content/iphone
And, if you ever want to go retro and get a paper guide and map in the mail, we'll send you one here: http://www.sonomacounty.com/content/...-guide-request
Thanks for coming to wine country!

Thanks InsideSonoma, yes we did use your app for our 2 day getaway towards Healdsburg. It is really nicely done app with great content including events. I so far have used three following apps:
"Visit Napa Valley" app from Legendary Napa: http://www.legendarynapavalley.com
"Tasting Pass Finder" app from econcierges:
http://econcierges.com
"iVisit Sonoma County" app from Sonoma County:
http://www.sonomacounty.com/content/iphone
I liked how "Tasting Pass Finder" app instantly found wine tasting deals near me and provided directions etc however i wish they also had restaurant & lodging offers too. I also wish they had an Android version (I am switching from iPhone to Android). I really liked how "iVisit Sonoma County" & "Visit Napa Valley" both have tons of wineries and all other business too. V. Sattui & Benziger wineries also have really really nice apps too but both need to have map options to provide directions to visitors.
Lets hear about more mobile apps from other users.
