Which Marriott Property in Hilton Head?

We are deciding between the Monarch at Sea Pines, The Grande Ocean or Harbour Club. Some posts have said the Monarch has a nicer beach, is that correct? The Monarch is supposedly also in a plantation. What does that mean to a traveler?

Sea Pines is a gated community which just means that it costs $5 for visitors.A great way to restrict traffic and crowds. The Monarch is on the beach which is as nice as you will find. It's a great place to bike and relax - I would take the Monarch.Look at SeaPines.com for more information on this section of Hilton Head. It is very, very nice!

I can let you know in April after we check it out on our tour of the property. We are staying at Grande Ocean.

Thanks...I'd appreciate your opinion. We still have time to switch to Grande Ocean or Monarch (both sound good from reviews). We would like close proximity to ocean and a warm swimming pool.
