Which Embassy Suites is better at LAX?
We are in California in San Luis Obispo area for 1 week in September. We need to spend our last night in Los Angeles and are hoping for something close to the airport. I found 2 Embassy Suites that are reasonable, however 1 says LAX North (Airport Blvd.) and 1 is South (East Imperial Avenue). Does anyone know - is one any better than the other, as far as "niceness", convenience to get around and to get back to the airport and also for noise?

The North one is across the street from the Avis and Budget car rental lots. You could drop off your car the night before, walk to the hotel, and take hotel shuttle to the airport in the morning (am not certain that the hotel has a shuttle, but do expect it, but check).
I haven't stayed at either place but ...
The webpage for the on on Imperial says it does have a shuttle. If you had a room that faced the airport you would have a grand view of it. But I think that isn't likely and that it would be quiet enough.
I would expect that you'd have to pay a fee to park at the North one.
I'd pick the South one, probably quieter and nicer. If walking from the car rental agency is not important then the South is just as convenient.
