Right here, in NorCalifornia. Nice big storm, warm cozy fireplace, listening to the huge waves crashing and having dungenes(sp?) crab, french bread and chardonnay for dinner. I can't wait for my husband to get home. The only place better right now might be a cabin up in Tahoe with a hot tub out in the snow.

It's still pouring here in Northern CA. However, I was happily bombarded for an hour today with pictures of blue skies, fruity drinks, clear water, and gorgeous sunsets taken by my friend during his two week honeymoon.
So i'm going to have to say Tahiti.

"citizen Shane"-wasn't it more like "Apeasement and cooked books" back then? If you really think the planning of 9-11 and the cooked books of the big corporations all started the day GWB took the oath of office, you are too naive to even cross a street to be anywhere else right now.

Nowhere but where I am. I try to live in the present completely, even for the unpleasant times.
I spent the first 2/3rds of my life, checking off lists in my head about plans for "later". I had fun, and a great life all around, but never appreciated the present a fraction as much as it deserved. Travel- especially.
The road can BE the vacation. It isn't just the destination.
