I need some help. We are both pilots so we can jump on most flights that aren't oversold!! We tried Mexico but no go and are fishing around for another place to go tomorrow(Friday) through Monday.
We just went to Disneyworld, Seattle, and NYC.
Love to hear about your favorite winter getaways!

Thanks for the great suggestions - Key West, New Orleans...
Honolulu is too far
Palm springs? Huh - never been.
San Juan is a good one too
Everything sounds better than Cleveland right now! Not complaining about the mild winter but I need to get out of town!!

Pilot, I just recieved a call from a friend today, she said Palm Springs International Film Festival is this weekend. If you're not interested, there are always good places for golf, and spa in Palm Springs. On your way to Palm Springs they have an excellent outlet mall.
Also, you can catch the Aerial tram in Palm Springs where it takes you to the San Jacinto mountains. You can either do the 11 mile hike up the top, or just take a nature tour. I believe they also transport cross-country skiers (I know of all places in Palm Springs!) but the elevation is about 11-12,000. When I took the hike last April, there were still patches of snow along the trails. If anything else, the ride on the tram and the view is beautiful. It reminded me of the Swiss Alps (at least the tram did).
