I don't know what your price range is, but we always stay at the Korakia Bed and Breakfast. It's a Moroccan villa that has been restored with a great deal of care. There is a pool, outdoor fireplace, and a lovely patio for breakfast. Some of the rooms ( I think there are about ten) have their own patios with a tile table and straw chairs. It
feels like you are in a different world there and it's only a block or so off the the main boulevard. I think they might close for part or all of the summer, but if not, it's great. (least expensive room is about $131 peak season)

Call Infomation for Entertainment Publications and buy ($35) the Entertainment Book for the PS area then get 50% off at our favorite hotel - The Stouffer/Renaissance Esmeralda resort in Indian Wells. This place is a vacationers dream and lucky for you July is low season and so you should definitely be able to get a deal.

My husband and I highly recommend the La Quinta Resort & Club. It's not the chain you're thinking of. It's named after the city it's located in. The resort grounds had beautiful flowers everywhere and the rooms were equally beautiful. We had a private villa with two balconies and a small lap pool overlooking the Santa Rosa Mountains. The restaurants have excellent food, you won't be disappointed. There's alot more I can say about this place but there's no room left. Good luck and let me know what you decide.
