Where to stay in Moab, UT
My husband and I are planning a 10-day trip to the parklands of southern Utah next May and have allocated 3 overnight stays in Moab while we visit Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point. Any suggestions on places to stay in the area?

I stayed at the Best Western Greenwell Inn. There is also a Best Western Canyonlands that is similar.
The Greenwell was satisfactory in every respect. It was a typical 3 star place that fully met my expectations.
One curious aspect of the reservation was this: I got a cheaper rate over the web than I could get on a direct phone call. I did not understand the process, but the person who answered my call said the price I asked her about was internet only; she could not give me that rate.
I did not ask why; I just reservded via Internet and saved about $5.00.

We stayed in the Comfort Suites last May for $89 a night. The room had a microwave and fridge along with a small sofa. The motel has all the travel necessities: indoor pool and hot tub, laundry and continental breakfast. You will love Maob. The hike to Delicate Arch for sunset is a must. We went rafting while we were there which was the favorite part of our two week vacation.

My preference in Moab is The Gonzo Inn. It is a good location next to a quiet stream and the rooms are interesting and comfortable. The larger rooms have a kitchenette, a seperate bedroom, and a fireplace. Good luck.
