Where to stay in Key West w/ kids

We are planning a trip mid April and are looking for accomodations in the $100 to $150 range. Please advise if you can recommend a place. Also wondering what the drive is from Miami to Key West and what the drive is from Miami to Orlando.

Many thanks.

I've never made the trip from Orlando, but from Miami to Key West you should count on at least 4 hours. For accommodations, check out keywest.com and look for something in Old Town.

If you can afford it stay at the cas Marina. it is a lovely hotel with a nice pool and beach area. It is father away from the main Duval area and therefore in a quieter area.

Shultzy,
You might want to check out Island City House. They are very welcoming to children. I have seen them mentioned on previous posts under FL. We stayed there twice when my son was elementary school age.
