Where to Stay in Boston
My husband and I will be traveling with two 22 year olds to Boston in June (attending a Red Sox game). What area of Boston would be suggested so that we have easy access to nightlife and the Stadium?

Back Bay, Park Square, or Coolidge Corner. You can walk to Fenway Park from the hotels near the Prudential if the Green Line is too crowded, and many of them are available on Priceline.
There is a Courtyard in Coolidge Corner that is very well located for restaurants etc and a block from the Green Line. There is a Holiday Inn on Beacon Street in Brookline that is on the Green Line, but it is not as convenient to restaurants. And it is probably within walking distance as well.

There's always the Hotel Commonwealth right at Kenmore square, too. Easy access to the park, nightlife a-plenty on Landsdowne and the surrounding area, and you can jump on the Green line to get anywhere else you like. If it fits your budget, I actually think the Kenmore location would be the best.
But please let us know what budget, and what kind of nightlife you are looking for, something else might be better.

You need to give us your price range. After four years of visiting our Daughter at BU, I highly recommend the Commonwealth, but it isn't cheap.
The Buckminsster, across the street, is pretty popular is you are on a tight budge, as they have all types of room from dorm style to ones with a private bath. The Kenmore T-stop is directly below the Commonwealth Hotel so getting anywhere in Boston is easy.
My husband recently spent a few nights at the Marriott Courtyard near Copley SQ. He said it was very comfortable and convenient.
