Where to stay and eat in Bend

I need a suggestion for a place to spend the night in Bend, OR (and a dinner suggestion) for a family of five (3 teens) in mid-August. Something under $125 per room would be great. Thanks for any help!

Phoenix Inn-better than the Dunes. Over 300 restaurants in Bend. One of my favorites is the Black Bear Diner across the street from the Dunes along 3rd Street.
For ribs it's hard to beat Baldy's. There are 2 Shari's (24 hr.) restaurants in town. Where are you headed when you leave town if I may ask?

Phoenix Inn Suites is a great place to stay. It is located in downtown Bend near dozens of great restaurants and shopping. I personally would rather eat at Deschutes Brewery & Public House, Pine Tavern, McMennamins or 900 Wall Street. All are within walking distance from the Phoenix Inn.

I stay at the Fairfield Marriott--about a 3 block walk from downtown.

There's always the Pine Tavern, which in nice weather has tables on the lawn by the Mirror Pond on the river.

There are also great people watching places at The Old Mill.

Up in Northwest Crossing I believe there is a Mexican restaurant.

Thanks so much. I will check these out!

Tomfuller, from Bend we are headed to Mt. St. Helens (overnight in Randle), then on to Seattle.
