Where to Go?

My boyfriend and I just returned from the Domenican Republic. We stayed at the Hotel Melia and had a great time. It was our first all-inclusive and we had a blast. We are planning another trip for mid-August. We would like to go to another all-inclusive beach resort. Mexico sounded great...until I found out it was the rainy season. Any suggestions?

We did Costa Rica last August. I don't know whether it was considered the "rainy season"...perhaps....but the only rain we had in three weeks was about four afternoons when it rained for an hour or so. Look into an all-inclusive there. You would love it.

You should post your question on the Caribbean and Latin American forums here. This is the US and there are not many (if any) all inclusive places in the US.

Hit the "talk" button at the top of this page. Scroll down to the "Caribbean" forum, click, then hit "start a new thread". Type in your question. Repeat for "Latin America"

While it is the rainy season in parts of coastal Mexico, I would still consider going there. Myself, I love Puerto Vallarta. But they don't have as many all-inclusives there like they do in the Caribbean, perhaps another "drawback".

I am sorry I cannot recommend an all inclusive in Costa Rica. Our three weeks there were spent traveling independently while also visitng our daughter and her husband who live and work there

Do find the appropriate section on this forum, but also go to the talk section of Trip Advisor.
