Not far - we'd just come back from southern New Mexico for a college graduation. Dh and kids fixed me breakfast in bed, we went to church, out to lunch, and goofed around at home.
We're going to California in a week, though, and dh is giving me a trip to Houston in June so I can attend a writing workshop and visit the Lord of the Rings exhibit at the Houston Science Museum.

My 2 teen kids and husband drove me to Annapolis MD. (where my husband and I honeymooned) for the weekend. Great weather, nice lighthouse boat cruise to Thomas Light, and really really good dinner at Caroll's Creek, which we went to because it had been recommended on this board last week.

I traveled to #ell and back.
I love my MIL but it's the 14 other screaming in-laws that make me join "AA AAA" and then drive myself to drink.
Hey B'man...I had a great gorge too!
