Where could you vacation each year if you could afford it?

Just wondering where you could vacation each year if you could afford too? My spot naturally would be Hawaii. Wish the airfare wouldn't be so darn expensive!! I could go there every year.

I would go somewhere in the western US every year. We do this, but I'd like to do it more often. The list of things we like to do are out west is very long: hike in the Grand Canyon and SW canyon country; hike in the mountains and along the ocean in the Pacific Northwest. Then there's some of our favorite cities: Portland, OR and Seattle, or small towns: Ouray, CO, Crested Butte, CO. In the winter we could ski Colorado and Utah.
We have often considered a move out west just to be closer to all these wonderful places (and Hawaii). But our family and friends are all here back east, our sons have friends out here, etc. While many people want to retire down south to Florida, we're heading west!

I'd take Abercrombie and Kent vacations all over the world continually and live abroad several months a year

We'd go to a different spot every year--there are so many places we want to see!

Since I'm from the east coast, I would love to go on a ski vacation out west every year.

South Africa-- very long flight, but it's amazing to be on that continent. Especially miss Pretoria, Capetown and Stellenbosch(wine country). I have many relatives there who settled in the early 1900's.

Knowing, if you're not even going to stop, what difference does it make which language they speak?

Personally, anywhere and everywhere. I'd rather venture to new places I haven't visited already, but one of my favorites thusfar that I'd LOVE to return to is the west coast of Vancouver Island!

Maggi, Wouldn't you get bored returning to Kauai year after year.
I sure as heck know I would!

I'm with Kal on this one. There is nothing remotely interesting in Kauai that would require a second thought or visit. Boring! Who would want to hang in Hanalei slumming with the locals every year, when they could go to Disney instead?
