When to visit Jacksonville, FL?
I want to visit my friend who has recently moved to FL. Is it better to go in January when the flights are around $240, but the weather is cooler, or to go in March when the flights are more expensive and the weather is warmer?

And remember that summer in FL is not merely an issue of being 'hot' but the intense humidity.
In fact, actual _temps_ in summer are typically somewhat lower in FL than in much of the rest of the U.S. but it _feels_ much hotter b/c of the humidity and the intensity of the sun.

Hi, Right now in Jackosnville we are having temps in the 80's. Weather is hard to predict. You definetly couldn't swim at the beach, the water is too cold. You could sit out by the pool, this week with such warm temps.I would come when the flights are cheaper. We don't get many spring breakers here. That won't be a problem, if you decide to come in March.Just the local kids. Some don't have break until April. Like previous posters have mentioned anytime before May is the way to go. Good Luck
