Sadly, Ive given up my Friday night wine, but the good part is I've lost a couple lbs. from the saved calories already. Since my dh is out of town, it's easier anyway!
I drove 14 hours from Capetown South Africa to Port Elizabeth once.We had tried to find a hotel in Knysna? long the way, but it was too late.
Along the way, I was bitten on the small toe by a spider and by the time we arrived at an ostrich farm, the toe was swelled to the size of a Jimmy Dean sausage.
My mother became quite cranky because I couldn't drive any farther(on the opposite side of the road in a small Mr. Bean sized car).
The highlight was meeting some very handsome South African soldiers in the airport, upstairs, away from my overbearing mother! My sister traveled with her in Europe for six weeks prior to that, so maybe I was the luckier one, lol.
