What's the fastest way from JFK to Manhattan (lower)
Can someone tell me what would be the fastest way to get to lower part of Manhattan (Chatam Sq near Chinatown) from JFK? I presume one takes Manhattan Bridge or Williamsburgh Bridge?
I'm concerned about the traffic jam. My flight is touching down 2pm Friday so I probably won't get out (with luggage, immigration) till 3pm.
Also, does anyone know of better routes/back roads to avoid congestion?
Another totally unrelated question... Doing a "late" dimsum with potential clients. Until what time do restaurants in Chinatown serve dimsum?
Thanks very much, in advance.

I forgot to add, I have only one 20" roll-on, so no problem using trains. I'm not looking for the cheapest option.
Would Airtrain/LIRR faster than taxi around that time? How long would it take by taxi vs train?

US Helicopters have $99 special now ($109 with tax), and they have flights from JFK to Downtown Manhattan about every hour in the afternoon. 2:45p, 3:45p, etc. 10 minute flight.
They depart from the DL terminal. If you're flying in on DL, that will make it even faster.
Dim sum is served during breakfast and lunch. Usually ends at around 2pm or so.

Fair Warning: Immigration at JFK can take well in excess of 1 hour. The last time I came into JFK from abroad, it was 1 hour 15 minutes, and that was 20 minutes better than the time before that. But it depends entirely on the airline.
Also, I think Dim Sum Go Go, which is very close to Chatham Square, serves late. you should check and call to make sure, but I once at there around 7, but you have to order off a menu ... there aren't carts.
