What's NEW In Vegas This Year?

HI everybody ... My DH and I are headed back to Vegas for 5 nights in August. We were there last year in June and I did a ton of research for that trip. So what I'm looking for now are things to add to my lists that are new this year. Any new restaurants, new shows, new things to see or do ... also any place you know has closed.

Some specific questions:

Any of the restaurants at the Wynn you would recommend?

We saw O last time and were thinking of seeing Mystere this time ... would Ka be better? MY DH loved the mechanics of the staging for O so I'm thinking Ka might be a better fit for him?

Thanks in advance for any info & suggestions!

Go see Ka-we liked O more but the staging in Ka is unbelievable-it rotates and goes perpendicular to the floor-impressive.

I agree - see Ka. We saw it three weeks ago and thought it was great. Mystere is still my favorite Cirque show, but Ka is very entertaining and I can highly recommend. The theater is unbelievable.

There are a ton of new poker rooms with a variety of games and tourneys at many properties if that does anything for you.

I'm afraid video poker is more my speed

I'd like to try a slots or video poker tournament some day.

Not too much new stuff compared to a year ago, other than what's already been mentioned. We thought the buffet at the Wynn was pretty good....maybe even better than Bellagio!
