What travel-sized items work for you?

I'm going on a 3 day work trip to NYC on Tuesday and obviously don't want to check a bag for such a short trip. I've been able to find most items that I need in the regulation 3 oz size, but I'm still having trouble with a few things - namely haircare products and saline. It seems like you can't get anything but hairspray in a travel size, and my hair does need a little more help than that. Also, the smallest saline I've found is a 4 oz size. There are wetting drops in smaller sizes, but I don't think these actually clean your lenses. Have you found anything I may have missed? Thanks!

Saline can be any size, see my reply on other thread. [It has to be kept separate and declared.]

I'm flying next month to NYC and don't want to check a bag either. My hair needs mousse in the worst way but I haven't found a travel size, so I'm planning to buy it when I get there. I did find a travel size hairspray and will take that in my quart size bag. There are plenty of drugstores throughout NYC so I figure I'll have no trouble finding some mousse once in town. Then I'll just toss it when I check out of my hotel.

What does "lounge" mean? Is there a Lounge thread I missed?

Use the drop down menu on the upper left portion of screen. Lounge is a forum for "off travel topics".

Or click here
