What to do in San Antonio

My son is coming over from England in a few weeks time on a course, but will have spare time, please can anyone help in telling me what a young lad can see/do in this town and surrounds. We know absolutely nothing about this city. Thanks

THE DOWNTOWN RIVER WALK IS A POPULAR AREA THAT IS WORTH SEEING. HISTORICAL BUILDINGS, RESTAURANTS, ENTERTAINMENT. I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND SEEING THE ALAMO. WHICH IS WALKING DISTANCE FROM RIVER WALK.

Do a search here for "San Antonio" and you'll come up with a million things to do! The Riverwalk and mission trail are personal favorites. I also like to drive out in the Hill Country and do some exploring. Look at www.traveltex.com for more suggestions!

I haven't been there in quite a while, but my favorite BBQ place in San Antonio was Rudy's BBQ. Hope it's still there. It was wonderful.

What about Sea World, Fiesta Texas (a sixflags amusement park), and the River Walk? He can also go to New Braunsfel (sp?) and take a ride on an inner tube down the Guadalupe River. If he's old enough he can check out the night clubs on the River Walk too.
