What to do in Napa besides taste wine
I am ashamed to say that I've sort of left things to the last minute. We're going to Yountville for Thanksgiving weekend (tomorrow). All I've done is arrange dinners and book a hotel. I live in San Francisco but I haven't been up to the Napa area in quite a while. Are there any good hikes or scenic walks to take? I'm a runner and I love beautiful trail runs. Any little museums, contemporary art galleries, or historical sites to visit? Other interesting things to do in Yountville/Napa and nearby?
Usually I am an overplanner but somehow things got away from me this time. I'm sure we'll muddle through but if anyone has any tips or suggesions, I'd love to hear them.
Have a great Thanksgiving, all!

You can run on one of the local roads leading out of Sonama - for a nice distance. Can't tell you exactly which one but it leads to a nice few local branches roads (sort of in a NE direction?) - where there are some small ranches, where my Brother in Law had a place.
Again, sorry about the sparse directions - but you have to go up a little hill.
You could also rent canoes and go down the Russian River.
