What to do for a week in Jacksonville?
We want to go somewhere warm in February but can only fly into Jacksonville. St. Augustine sounds like the kind of thing we enjoy (antiques, history, little shops) but I was wondering if there is enough to do to keep us busy for a week. Also, what is the weather like then? Thanks!

I would consider making St. Augustine your base. There are condos you can stay in at the beach and St. Augustine is close to several things. St. Augustine itself is wonderful--Start with the visitors center. You can also go down to the Kennedy Space Center and you could even go over to Disney. The weather could be a tad cool but not overly cold like January.

Hannah Park is near the entrance to Mayport Naval Station & the park is great for mountain biking. Lots of high dunes, private paved roads, etc.
St. Augustine is also beautiful. Don't miss Anastasia Park, where the trees are bent sideways because of the wind off the coast. Also within easy reach is Daytona. Stay on A1A (the Coast Road) and the views are gorgeous. Daytona itself is touristy, but not so bad you couln't enjoy a day of it. I wouldn't recommend Spring Break, though!
Also, Disney is not so far away, about 2 1/2 hrs from Jax & if you don't have any kids you can see a lot more in fewer days. Epcot Center alone is well worth the trip!
