I'm form Australia and i'm travelling to LA,Las Vagas, and San Fran in 2 weeks and want to go see a sport like baseball or football,ice hockey etc... Can anyone tell me whats on then?

There won't be any baseball (major league anyway) going on in December. The major sports which are played in America in the winter are:

1) Professional (National Basketball Association) and College (National Collegiate Athletic Association) basketball;

2) Professional (National Football League) and College (NCAA) American football; and

3) Professional (National Hockey League) Ice Hockey.

There is NHL hockey in LA. There is NFL football in San Francisco and Oakland. And there is NBA basketball in LA and San Francisco (area). You will find college sports in all of the communities you mentioned.

You will be able to see Basketball, football and ice Hockey. No baseball.

Basketball: Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers, Golden State Warriors (in Oakland) and Sacramento Kings

Hockey: San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings

Football: Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, and San Francisco 49ers
